You have 48 hours to plan a wedding [insert tears here].
Well, it’s not a real wedding, but it has to look like it [dry your eyes and get to work]!
The project was for Ori Media and Canon Asian. Canon was launching a new camera designed for and targeted to wedding photographers and videographers.
Hustle and bustle, no rest for two days. Just because it’s not the real deal, who says it can’t look and feel like it?! After all, this is what we do at Make Your Mark.
Take a peek at the final product and some behind the scenes footage.
Key Elements for a Stunning Wedding Setup
- Venue Selection: Choosing the right venue sets the tone for the entire event. Whether it’s a serene beach, a lush garden, or a grand ballroom, the location should reflect the couple’s style and preferences. In our project, every detail of the venue was meticulously curated to capture the essence of a dream wedding.
- Wedding Bouquet: The bridal bouquet is more than just a beautiful arrangement of flowers; it symbolizes love, fertility, and new beginnings. The choice of flowers, their colors, and even their fragrance play a crucial role in conveying the desired message. We made sure to select a bouquet that complemented our bride’s look and enhanced the overall aesthetic of the shoot.
- Table Settings and Decor: Elegant table settings bring sophistication to any wedding. Thoughtfully chosen centerpieces, fine china, and tasteful linens are essential to create a cohesive and visually pleasing environment. Our team carefully designed each table setup to align with the theme, ensuring every guest feels the love and attention to detail.
- Lighting: Good lighting can transform a space, making everything from the décor to the photographs look more magical. Soft, ambient lighting and strategically placed spotlights can create a warm and inviting atmosphere. For this shoot, we used a combination of natural light and carefully positioned artificial lighting to highlight the key moments and details.
- Bridal Attire: The wedding dress is often the centerpiece of the entire event. It needs to reflect the bride’s personality while also fitting the theme of the wedding. For our project, we selected a gown that was both timeless and elegant, ensuring that it looked stunning in every shot, whether still or moving.
By focusing on these key elements, we were able to create a wedding atmosphere that was both authentic and enchanting, providing a perfect backdrop for the Canon camera’s debut.
